I spoke of specific and relevant examples of my skills and experience and how it would apply to this new role. One tip: practice answering all of the possible questions. I searched the internet for a list of popular interview questions. I recorded myself asking these questions and then when I was in the car, I would play one question at a time and then press pause and practice answering my answer out loud. I did this for several days - honing and fine tuning my responses. DO THIS! Be prepared! You get only one chance. When I was asked questions, during my interview, I was able to answer thoughtfully without saying umm, and uhhs. And by practicing like I did, it actually helped me remember of more things I had done in the past that I forgotten about. Try it. It is worth it for your dream job.
