I created a whole new line of business in my interview response (interior decorators), I told a joke or two, slowed down to provide context and relevant ecommerce metrics and answered direct questions with direct analyses. The interviewer stated I appeared nervous, rushed (we used 55 of 60 minutes), and he had to point me to important points in the case. Utter nonsense. The date portion, he asked a direct question and I thoroughly answered it. THEN he pointed to other data not related to his question and asked what the significance of that was. I thoroughly analyzed the data in my response. So, that was where he had to point me to the correct answer? Ridiculous. Purely subjective interview.
