I used to work at a hotel and one day we had a new chef. I walked into the kitchen to say hello and they weren't very enthusiastic about it. So i just went on about my business being nice to everyone. Later on the same chef came to apologize to me explaining that she's going through a really rough time right now. I was very understanding. We all have stuff we are dealing with, the best thing we can do is just take it day by day.
