Do you have a problem with being on-call?

The recruiter told me the facility was looking to expand its operations from normal day-shift hours to the capability of providing 24/7 support. My military career as a Chief has been an on-call experience! Any problem my Sailors had with assigned tasks, or issues identified with the operation of our equipment would have been an information call, at the least, with the possibility of further supervisory involvement. I never wanted to be told about a problem by my Commanding Officer, my position was to inform HIM of problems within my technical responsibility.
