With proper planning and constant measurement of milestones and progress on deliverables, there should be no surprises and less need for pressure. However, in a dynamic competent environment, there will always be some unexpected changes which can create pressure on timing and delivery. In these times, I think it best to keep calm, focus on the outcomes and ensure that the controllable inputs are made efficiently and effectively. Providing assistance to colleagues when needed and possible also alleviates pressure and creates a warmer working environment
