Data is useful in process development overall. For one, the data will show trends in volume. That then dictates the need for more block time or more teams to facilitate that volume. Also, tracking the case times shows trends on room times and the need to adjust scheduling both current and future state. Lastly, data can also tell us a lot about quality, and outcomes, which is incredibly significant to the sustainability of the program.
