I would carefully listen to the operator's technical opinion first. Will determine all pros and cons from his opinion. After that i will politely explain him my technical opinion and will explain him the advantages, values of my opinion will bring to the company. Once comes to the agreement, I will take a concrete steps to deal constructively with the operator to emphasize to follow my opinion, which will bring value to the company. All will be done in a very friendly & amicable way.
