First I look to see if the issue was previously resolved, if not, perform my own steps to resolve. Once resolved, document and make note for any future issues. If not resolved, escalate issue for further assistance.

Listen to client and let them describe the issue. Create a ticket to document. (If system exist, customer, would have already submitted). Diagnose the issue, identify source of the issue. Fix the issue if possible. Make notes on steps taken. Escalate only when needed.
