My name is Dylon Chan and I am a Chemical Engineering graduate student at the University of California Riverside. I would say that the one thing that you must know about me is that I am always wanting to collaborate with others. I enjoy being able to share ideas and create something from a team. An example of this is during my Senior Design Project with a team of four other Chemical Engineering senior undergrads. Together, we were able to create a hypothetical feasible chemical process design for the manufacture of a hypertensive drug. We shared countless hours discussing designs, reactor tanks, fluid flow and flow rates, heat exchanges, etc. We also discussed financial feasibility of the project and how to present it to some of the chemical engineering faculty staff. It was a collaborative effort that was able to win us the best feasible project our of thirteen teams for that year.
