(The position was in disability. They indicated it was a sensitive situation when customer called in for benefits). I said that I believed difficult customer situations can be diffused by being empathetic to a customer's concerns. I think it's important to follow through on phone calls and information promised to a customer in a timely manner. Under promise and over deliver.
