Had the same skills assessment. Person said it "wouldn't take long". They wanted you to showcase VBA skills.If you're serious about your work, IE: writing good, clean code that's refactored well, commented, logical, reuseable .. it will take you a good day or two (working 8 hrs/day), because you need to code up sub-libs to handle things. Even after putting in the time on the skills test, they barely discuss it in the interview. Nobody reviews your code to see if it's good. This told me that they have a bunch of "cats" working there all doing their own thing, and no unified BI development structure. Every dept has an analyst, they're allowed to do their own thing, and if you shift to a dept later in your career there who knows what you're going to get stuck with. They need a centralized BI structure.
