I wear many hats in my current position. I lead user research to identify pain points, understand user needs, and validate design decisions. I create user flows and wireframes before jumping right into high-fidelity mockups. I involve the develops in the process as early as I can to ensure designs are feasible in the codebase. I also communicate frequently with stakeholders to ensure business goals are being met.
