Because I had two labs for over twelve years. I was only employee that worked in these labs. Bottom floor lab was where I debugged hearing aids and repaired them. I had to order all lab supplies that included tools and repair parts and I had to keep track of who hearing aids belonged to and repair them in a timely manner.
Top floor lab I carved prosthesises that went in the middle eas called the ossicular chain. I had to order femur, defrost it, cut it into small pieces and carve them into prosthesises. All different sizes and had to keep my tools in great working order and keep lab supplies with supplies and stock bone box in Drs. Operating room with these.
I held these two jobs for over 12 years until I moved family back to hometown so my children could go to school where my wife and myself graduated from.
Now one graduated college and younger one just graduated two year college on baseball scholarship and is now chosing where he's going to go finish bachelor degree. He's getting many offers on scholarships but only part scholarship. I need a job to pay what scholarship doesn't cover. Thank you. John L Rains
