Why do you want to move from software development to service technical engineering?

Honestly, When I thought about that position, I found it’s a good fit for me for many reasons: First, the most thing I like about software development is my capability of solving the problems I face while developing (One of the most things which I’m proud of is that in my career I’ve never been assigned to any task then I said that I can’t do this task or I tried but I got stuck with this issue. I always find a solution I always keep trying until I do it) and I’m glad that in technical service engineering I’ll have the chance to not only diagnose and solve my problems but I’ll help other developers who use MongoDB or Realm to solve their issues or problems or even refer useful documentation for them. The second reason is that I’m an Extravert person who likes to communicate and engage with people, and to be honest that was something annoying in my work as a developer (just interacting with code for the whole day without having the chance to interact with humans) The third reason is that being a service technical engineer doesn’t mean that I’ll not interact with the code again. But in reality, I’ll have the chance always to read snippets of code, diagnose issues and try to reproduce them, especially with working for a company like MongoDB which is so specialized in software engineering so I’ll always have a chance to keep in touch with the code base and modern technologies. All of these reasons make me so excited about this step.
