Summary:
This is a key position in the Test Department which requires professional work ethics, dedication, proper attitude, and self- motivation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design and development of test fixtures and systems to meet customer requirements.
· Troubleshoot using a systematic approach and repairing electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies, hybrid circuits, equipment, and systems.
· Develop, qualify and conduct test programs for flying probe test systems and In-Circuit Test systems.
· Analyze and interpret test yield data and report trends and weaknesses using lean manufacturing principles.
· Any other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent is required.
Minimum 8 years' experience in Electrical Engineering.
· Individual must be able to develop flying probe programs proficiently after receiving a reasonable amount of training.
· Self- management of personal workload is important as multi-tasking and meeting goals is a constant requirement.
· Willing to do what is needed in order to elevate the success of the company.
· Able to work while looking through a microscope and must have steady hands for detailed small items work.
· Must be able to read and interpret documents such as schematics, datasheets, and equipment manuals.
· Position requires proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.
