Milestones, the clinical division of Stone Belt, is seeking a Recreational Therapist to join our team!

The Recreation Therapists at Milestones Health and Clinical Resource, a division of Stone Belt ARC, Inc, organize therapy sessions and develop rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of our clients. You will interact with clients, offer recommendations for physical and mental wellness, and assist them in participating in recreational activities such as art, sports, music, or dance. The goal of our recreation therapists is to improve clients’ overall health and help them adjust to disabilities or illnesses through engaging and therapeutic experiences.

To qualify for this opportunity, all candidates must already possess their Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) credential, and have two years experience practicing Recreation Therapy.

Key Responsibilities of our Recreation Therapists include:

• Organizing therapy sessions to interact with clients and offer recommendations for physical and mental wellness
• Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs to help clients adjust to a disability or illness
• Ensuring treatment plans are suitable for clients’ physical condition and are in accordance with their preferences
• Building unique therapeutic relationships with clients and assisting them with fun exercises and other therapeutic activities for their illnesses.
• Ultimately, you will work directly with patients through therapeutic activities and treatment to help them recover from a variety of injuries and illnesses.
• Prepare and present reports to treatment team to highlight patients’ response to therapy
