Beal University is seeking an adjunct instructor for Speech.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech or Oral Communication. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years teaching speech and/or oral communication. Experience teaching Online is preferred and experience with Canvas Learning Management Software is a plus.

Job Duties

· Facilitating class instruction

· Providing advisement to students

· Attending and participating in instructor orientations and trainings

Education and Other Requirements

· Masters Degree or higher in an appropriate field.

· Demonstrated command of theory and practice, contemporary knowledge, and continuing study in an appropriate field(s).

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· 2 years of experience with a Learning Management System preferred.

· Organizational and time management skills.

· Superb interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.

· Patient, understanding and empathetic (recognize that student population is non-traditional)

.Skills in presenting subject matter

. Skill in developing Lesson outlines and materials.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per month
