We are seeking an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Social Worker (ASW) who is passionate about providing high-quality care, enjoys working independently while receiving mentorship, and is excited to grow alongside a supportive and expanding practice.

This opportunity is especially well-suited for an associate who is earlier in the licensure process and looking to establish a strong clinical foundation with ongoing mentorship and professional development.

Position Overview

This is a part-time, fully remote telehealth position with intentional and gradual caseload growth.

We believe clinicians provide their best care when they are supported rather than overwhelmed. Associates typically begin with approximately 5 client hours per week, with opportunities to steadily increase their caseload as referrals, insurance credentialing, and availability expand.

Current referral sources include:

• Private Pay
• Open Path Collective
• California Victim Compensation Board (CalVCB)
• Psychology Today and Mental Health Match
• Insurance panels (Aetna and Optum) and currently expanding

We anticipate onboarding our next clinician within the next month as our referral volume continues to grow.

Clinical Populations

Our clinicians work with a variety of presenting concerns, including:

• Anxiety
• Depression
• Trauma & PTSD
• Domestic Violence
• Relationship concerns
• Couples and Families
• Life transitions
• Self-esteem
• ADHD
• Autism
• Parenting concerns
• Stress management
• Grief and loss and more

Some referrals may include court-related therapy services, including court-ordered treatment, progress reports, victim services, and collaboration with outside professionals when clinically appropriate. Training and consultation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide ethical, high-quality telehealth psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed, attachment-based, solution-focused, and other clinically appropriate approaches.
• Participate in individual and group supervision.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional documentation standards.
• Communicate professionally with referral sources and collateral providers when appropriate.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and strong organizational skills.

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is currently registered as an AMFT with the California BBS.
• Is passionate about learning and continued professional growth.
• Is comfortable working independently while utilizing supervision appropriately.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and professionalism.
• Has excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Enjoys working with diverse client populations, including varying cultures, identities, family structures, and LGBTQ+ clients.
• Is comfortable working with trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics.
• Is open to learning court-related documentation and collaboration when applicable.
• Values teamwork, mentorship, and quality client care.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage: $25.00/hour with room for increase in pay
• Paid for all direct client hours.
• Paid individual supervision in accordance with California BBS requirements.
• Paid group supervision.
• Performance and compensation review every 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• California AMFT/ASW registration in good standing.
• Reliable internet connection.

• Some evening availability is a plus, but not required.
