3D Artist/Texture Editor
Job Overview
The 3D Artist/Texture Editor is responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining accurate 3D apparel assets that support design development, presentations, line reviews, and digital product visualization. This role works closely with design and technical teams to translate 2D concepts into realistic 3D garments, accessories, textures, and fabric materials using Browzwear, CLO 3D, Photoshop, and Adobe Substance. The position requires strong attention to detail, refined visual sense, and the ability to produce high-quality digital assets that accurately reflect color, print, drape, fit, fabric texture, lighting, and overall garment appearance.
Duties
- Full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA.
- Create and refine 3D apparel assets, including garments, accessories, textures, and realistic fabric materials.
- Build and adjust 3D models in Browzwear and CLO 3D, with attention to color, drape, fit, and fabric accuracy.
- Apply lighting setups and enhance scenes for presentations, line reviews, and digital product imagery.
- Collaborate with design and technical teams to translate 2D concepts into accurate 3D renderings.
- Maintain organized asset libraries, uphold quality standards, and revise work based on internal feedback.
- Create seamless texture repeats from physical scans in Photoshop and generate texture maps using Adobe Substance.
Qualifications
- AA in Fashion Design /Fashion Technology or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Browzwear and CLO 3D for creating accurate, production-ready 3D apparel models.
- Experience with lighting techniques for still images and turntables, with the ability to optimize scenes for clarity and realism.
- Knowledge of pattern drafting and garment posing fundamentals for mannequins or avatars is a must.
- Relevant education or training in 3D software, digital design, textiles, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, a refined visual sense, with the ability to interpret fashion design references accurately.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or product visualization is a plus.
- Proficiency in Photoshop is required, including the ability to create seamless texture repeats.
- Expertise in texture generation, including UV mapping, material creation, and realistic fabric, color/ prints application and generate texture maps.
- Knowledge of Adobe Substance is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain a well-structured asset library.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour.
