OSI is seeking an IT Security Operations Analyst to work on contract in support of Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR).

Locations: Current Positions are located at one of the Central Office.

IT Security Operations Analyst works with the Patch Management Team to align security processes, policies and procedures with security standards and operational goals. Knowledge of Infrastructure and skill at compliance, policies, and practices Is required. Also Included Is skill at assessing malware Impact and Inspecting vulnerability scans. The position also requires the ability to manage the distribution of Microsoft operations systems patches as well as third party patches using ELMS and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
Job Summary
The IT Security Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and security incidents across the organization's IT environment. This role works closely with IT, security, and business teams to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from unauthorized access, cyberattacks, and other security risks.
Positions require good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to Independently Interact with teammates and managers and must also be able to communicate effectively with non-technical users. Experience In training and/or teaching software applications a plus. Excellent communication, customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced regulated environment are a must.
Thorough understanding of the following areas through a combination of Education and Help Desk Administration, User Support, Networking and Infrastructure, Computer Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Hardware and Software, Business and Management Information Systems practices and principals. Experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Server 2022, Microsoft Office M365 suite, Exchange with Outlook Client, Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Service Now Help Desk System, Windows Operating System Deployment (OSD), SAP (basic knowledge of user management)
