In a consulting environment meet with client management in order to evaluate requirements and from requirements develop specifications and pertaining to the development of financial and telecom applications. From specifications analyze and design technical specifications that meet client’s requirements. Prepare project plan. Coordinate development of applications components and insure they interface with client’s existing systems architecture and applications environment. Direct and participate in the full life cycle from specifications through implementation in a domestic/offshore development model. Direct, participate and monitor the development, testing, implementation and documentation of required web based Internet compliant applications in a secure and robust environment (front and back end) utilizing SQL (language used to develop interfaces between applications and the database) J2EE and Java utilizing Agile methodologies. Insure delivery of software in a professional and profitable manner consistent with specifications and employer’s contractual obligations. Maintain project records and technical documentation. Act as principal liaison between employer and client user and IT management.

Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 1 year of experience. In lieu of, will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years of experience, or any reasonable combination of education, training or experience thereof. Experience can be progressive. No less than a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience is required.
