Duties

• Assist clients with onboarding new merchant accounts and provide ongoing support for existing accounts
• Conduct data entry tasks accurately to update client information and transaction records using Microsoft Office tools
• Identify and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions and applying industry best practices in fraud detection and prevention
• Communicate effectively with clients via phone calls, ensuring clear explanations of products, services, and compliance requirements
• Stay informed about banking regulations and industry standards to ensure all client interactions adhere to financial compliance policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client inquiries promptly and efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer service
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and incident reports to support audit processes and regulatory requirements
• Real estate management using Appfolio

Skills

• Proven experience in customer support and assistant roles
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, financial compliance, and fraud prevention techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for data management and reporting
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to engage confidently with clients over the phone and in person
• Previous call center experience or customer service background enhances your ability to handle high-volume inquiries efficiently
• Technical proficiency in handling data entry tasks with accuracy and speed (typing skills)
• Industry knowledge of financial regulations ensures adherence to legal standards during all client interactions
• Ability to work alone.
