Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This vital leadership role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess strong management skills to help drive store performance and uphold our commitment to community-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily store activities, including sales, inventory control, and customer service standards.
• Support recruitment efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees.
• Lead and motivate team members through effective training and development initiatives.
• Manage payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions and sales management while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

Requirements

• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail environment is essential.
• Demonstrated skills in management, team leadership, and employee orientation.
• Proficiency in retail math, sales management, inventory control, and cash handling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of POS systems, purchasing processes, and retail marketing strategies.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, training & development, and customer service excellence.
