Assistant Project Manager

This is a project support role working alongside senior project leadership to help deliver construction projects from start to finish. You'll be exposed to the full lifecycle - preconstruction, delivery, and close-out - while building the technical, commercial, and coordination skills needed to step into a full Project Manager role.

What you'll be doing

Project coordination

• Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day delivery
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Assisting with project scheduling and tracking progress

Commercial & documentation

• Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Tracking project costs and assisting with procurement
• Maintaining accurate project records and reports

Preconstruction

• Supporting bid reviews and take-offs
• Assisting with logistics planning and programme development

Site & delivery support

• Visiting sites to monitor progress and identify issues early
• Working closely with field teams to ensure alignment
• Helping resolve minor issues before they escalate

Close-out

• Assisting with punch list, documentation, and handover

Who they're looking for

• 1-4 years' experience in construction (GC or subcontractor background)
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working across office and site environments
• Good communicator who can work with both field and office teams
