Position Summary

We are seeking a Mobile Device Deployment Technician for a short-term, onsite iPhone deployment project. Over roughly one month, this technician will stage and configure corporate iPhones, validate that each device is correctly enrolled and policy-compliant, and deliver finished devices to departments across the organization. This is a hands-on, high-volume role — we need someone who works accurately at pace, documents consistently, and resolves common issues without escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage, configure, and enroll corporate iPhones per established build standards
• Validate configuration after enrollment: profiles applied, apps deployed, security policies enforced, compliance status confirmed
• Configure and troubleshoot iPhone Wi-Fi, including certificate-based and enterprise (802.1X) wireless authentication
• Deliver provisioned iPhones to departments and end users; verify functionality at handoff and capture acknowledgment
• Maintain accurate deployment records — serial numbers, user assignment, device state, and exceptions
• Follow and update deployment documentation and checklists as the project progresses
• Diagnose and resolve enrollment failures, activation issues, app deployment errors, and connectivity problems; escalate with clear notes when needed
• Support inventory tracking, including collection of replaced devices

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and configuring iPhones in a business environment
• Working experience in corporate MDM environments (enrollment, profiles, compliance, app deployment)
• Demonstrated mobile Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting ability
• Strong troubleshooting methodology — able to isolate root cause rather than guess
• Strong documentation skills; keeps records accurate and current
• Comfortable interacting directly with end users across departments
• Able to lift and transport device shipments and manage physical inventory
• Available for the full duration of the engagement, onsite

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Intune administration experience
• Microsoft Entra ID experience (device identity, conditional access, group-based targeting)
• Broader MDM management experience
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager / Automated Device Enrollment
• Experience with SCEP/PKCS certificate deployment to iOS devices

• Devices consistently pass configuration validation on the first check
• Deployment tracking stays current and accurate throughout the engagement
• Common enrollment and Wi-Fi issues resolved without escalation
• Departments receive devices on schedule with minimal follow-up

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
