Legal Assistant - Insurance Reimbursement Team

Summary:
Support a high-volume insurance recovery team focusing on subrogation and third-party liability cases. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications with carriers and legal stakeholders, and ensuring case documentation is accurate and complete. Requirements:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience (4+ years) preferred
• Experience in insurance claims, subrogation, TPL, workers’ compensation, or legal admin preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-volume claim files and maintain detailed documentation
• Professional and service-oriented approach
  Responsibilities:
• Manage administrative tasks for active health plan recovery cases
• Answer inbound inquiries related to claims, liens, and coverage questions
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance carriers, and claim representatives
• Send notices, updates, and follow-up on documentation or missing materials
• Support case monitoring, flagging coverage or liability concerns
• Maintain case notes and communication logs in recovery systems
• Track reimbursements and escalate delays as needed
