About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Service Technician specializing in Access Control, CCTV, Alarm Systems, and Low Voltage Electrical Installations. In this role, you will be the frontline expert responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of security and low voltage systems across diverse client sites. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of critical security infrastructure, providing clients with reliable protection and peace of mind. Core Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage security systems in commercial, construction, and occasional residential environments
• Work with burglar alarm, CCTV, access control, and audio/visual systems, including device installation, testing, and service support
• Terminate and install field devices such as cameras, badge readers, motion detectors, mag locks, and glass break sensors
• Perform door hardware installation related to access control systems
• Pull cable, run wire, and complete site preparation work needed for successful installation
• Troubleshoot system and basic networking issues and verify system functionality through testing
• Assist with system programming and configuration based on job requirements and manufacturer specifications
• Set up and use support structures such as ladders and racks safely and effectively
• Complete assigned jobs on schedule while maintaining workmanship standards
• Document job activity thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company work order requirements
• Communicate clearly with Operations and Management regarding job progress, issues, and support needs
• Provide knowledgeable, courteous service to customers onsite while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Follow all company policies, safety requirements, PPE expectations, and applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain tools and company property in good working condition

Required Skills & Abilities

• Experience installing and servicing security, CCTV, access control, or related low-voltage systems
• Working knowledge of electronics, field devices, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to follow established procedures, manufacturer specifications, and documentation standards
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Ability to manage field work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams
• Clear communication skills and a professional customer-facing presence
• Dependable follow-through and consistent attention to workmanship, safety, and documentation quality
• Ability to adapt across multiple systems and technologies while maintaining installation standards

Other Requirements

2+ years of experience in security, CCTV, or access control installation and troubleshooting preferred

Must pass a background check and driver’s license check

Valid Arizona Driver's License

Must obtain and maintain an Arizona Alarm Agent License within first 90 days of employement

Must obtain OSHA 10 if not already certified within first week of employment, paid by company

Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and on-call rotation

Ability to work in outdoor, incremental weather conditions, construction, and other active field environments

Frequent standing, walking, and driving

Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and push up to 100 lbs

Ability to climb, crouch, and work at heights

Dependable & Reliable attendance based on job scheduling requirements

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
