Job Summary and Requirements: Support classroom teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment for students. This role involves working directly with students to reinforce learning concepts, assist with classroom management, support individual and group instruction, supervise students during transitions, and perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or administrator. The position requires the ability to remain emotionally stable, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professional composure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities and responding appropriately to student needs and unexpected situations. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; move throughout the classroom and school; and lift and carry materials or equipment weighing 20 pounds or more as needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, basic computer or communication skills (if relevant), ability to work with students, experience in schools or similar settings.
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly rate is based on experience and certification at a range from $14.75-$20.25. Benefit options for positions over 29 hours per week include section 125 health, vision, and dental coverage, subject to plan terms (for employees who work an average of 30 hours or more per week), voluntary benefits such as life insurance, long-term disability, and other ancillary insurance options (subject to applicable waiting periods, for employees who work an average of 30 hours or more per week), paid Time Off, 3 personal days and 5 sick days. This will be prorated based on the start date. Unused paid leave days roll over into sick accumulated days, and use of the Wellness Gym (workout facility for all employees and guests ages 18+) and Marathon Health Clinic.

Summary
Martinsville High School is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our administrative team as a High School Registrar. This full-time position is responsible for managing student enrollment, maintaining academic records, and ensuring compliance with local and state regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting the educational mission of the school.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the enrollment process for new and returning students, including registration, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including transcripts, grades, and attendance data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies regarding student information and privacy.
- Collaborate with faculty, counselors, and administrative staff to support student academic success and facilitate communication regarding student records.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of report cards, progress reports, and other academic documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies related to student enrollment and records management.
- Respond to inquiries from parents, students, and staff regarding enrollment procedures and academic records.
- Prepare and submit required reports to state and local education authorities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in student information systems and records management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Requirements

- Proficient in the use of student information systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
