Compensation and role design:

The Clinical Trainer role is built for BCBA leaders who are passionate about initial RBT training and developing the next generation of behavior analysts. In this role, you will work with our newest and most proficient technicians at your center. You’ll deeply impact BTs/RBTs at the beginning of their journey at Soar while also getting the opportunity to mentor, coach, and develop Case Supervisors (practicum students) into well-prepared future BCBAs. You’ll do this by providing hands-on supervision, structured feedback, and real-time clinical coaching to both groups.

• Base pay: $105,500 - $115,500. Annual performance bonus potential up to $5,000. Additional compensation beyond the range for achieving clinical certifications.
• Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign on bonus, based on start date and location.

What you will be doing:

• Be responsible for all new trainee (BT/RBT) growth and development at your center in weeks 2-5 at Soar after trainees complete one week of centralized training
• Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
• Support 3-4 Case Supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills
• Provide weekly billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 6 weeks at Soar and to Case Supervisors
• Host weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees
• Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies
• Complete monthly ESDM Fidelity Checks for RBTs
• Hosts a section of your center’s interdisciplinary meeting that communicates with BCBAs what is needed from them to ensure adherence to supervision requirements
• Organize and host quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs
• Collaborate with the Partner Clinician (Clinical Director) and Center Operations Director regarding RBT trainee performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
• Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present
• Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical Trainer

What You Have

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
• LBA in Arizona
• Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
• 3 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• ABA early intervention experience
• A mission driven nature that is deeply focused on care quality for kids
• Strong desire to work with clients ages 2- 6
• Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
• Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
