Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Home Health Billing Manager to lead our healthcare billing operations within the home health services sector. Duties

• Manage and supervise the home health billing team to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims across Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance providers
• Oversee compliance with all medical billing regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, ICD coding standards, and healthcare billing best practices
• Review and approve billing transactions using specialized billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Monitor the entire revenue cycle process from patient registration through final reimbursement, identifying areas for process improvement
• Ensure adherence to health insurance policies, third-party billing requirements, and hospital revenue cycle management protocols
• Conduct regular audits of billing procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with clinical staff, coding specialists, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and optimize cash flow

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare billing management within a home health or hospital setting with a strong understanding of medical coding (ICD codes) and medical billing procedures
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations, Medicaid policies, health insurance plans, and third-party payer requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting and documentation purposes
• Experience with billing software platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems used in healthcare settings
• Strong understanding of hospital revenue cycle management processes and healthcare compliance standards
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure regulatory adherence

Pay: $48,667.94 - $58,610.86 per year
