Required Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience in a salon or mobile grooming environment

- Ability to independently groom all breeds and coat types

- Strong knowledge of breed-standard trims and styling

- Excellent scissoring, clipper work, hand-finishing, and pet handling skills

- Ability to safely and confidently groom puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and large breeds

- Efficient grooming speed while maintaining exceptional quality standards

- Outstanding customer service and communication skills

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, de-shedding, clipping, scissoring, styling, and finishing work

- Complete breed-standard and custom trims accurately and efficiently

- Safely handle pets while maintaining their comfort and well-being

- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming services, coat condition, and pet care recommendations

- Provide additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and gland expression

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming equipment and work areas

- Uphold House and Hound's luxury "white-glove" customer experience standards
