We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Kitchen Manager/Assistant General Manager(AGM) to lead our bustling food service operation. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house service and kitchen functions, ensuring efficiency and high standards of quality.
• Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining consistency with recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs.
• Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
• Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards.
• Assist in budgeting, labor scheduling, shift management, and overall restaurant management to maximize profitability.
• Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with our service values.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support catering, banquet events, bar operations, or hotel-related food services as needed to diversify the guest experience.
• Implement training programs focused on food production, culinary techniques, hospitality management, and food safety practices.

Experience

• Proven management experience within full service dining establishments.
• Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within the food industry.
• Demonstrated supervising experience with team management responsibilities including interviewing and staff development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, cash handling, and food safety regulations.
• Experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
