Transystems is now reviewing resumes for an IT Support Technician to support our Red River Valley operations.
This position plays an important role in keeping our teams connected, supported, and able to do their jobs efficiently. The IT Support Technician will help maintain computer hardware, software, user accounts, basic networking, and day-to-day technology support needs across Transystems, with a primary focus on the Red River Valley region.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dependable, flexible, and tech-minded individual who enjoys helping people solve problems. The ideal candidate will have basic computer hardware and software knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel throughout the Red River Valley region to provide support where needed.
This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting technology issues, learning new systems, working independently, and helping employees stay connected and productive.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining user accounts as business needs and seasons change
- Adding, removing, and managing logins and user profiles, including Microsoft 365
- Providing desktop hardware and software support across Transystems, with a focus on the Red River Valley region
- Traveling to work sites to troubleshoot and support computers, laptops, and related equipment
- Assisting with basic physical networking needs, including occasional cable running and network setup
- Providing support to the IT department through troubleshooting, research, information gathering, and metrics
- Helping maintain account and company security
- Keeping up to date on required training and software knowledge
- Installing software updates on various systems used within Transystems
- Communicating with employees and the IT department to resolve issues efficiently
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified candidates should have knowledge of or the ability to learn:
- Basic networking
- Helpdesk systems
- IP telephony
- Microsoft 365 and user account management
- Computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Physical network setup and support
Qualified candidates should also be able to:
- Travel throughout the Red River Valley region as needed
- Be flexible with day trips to various work sites
- Work with employees and the IT department to achieve goals
- Adapt to a dynamic business environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally when resolving issues
- Perform occasional physical work related to networking, cables, and equipment setup
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic computer hardware and software skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to work sites across the Red River Valley region
- Ability and willingness to learn Transystems systems and software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, organized, and willing to help employees with technology needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous IT support experience
- Experience with helpdesk systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365 user account management
- Basic networking experience
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, phones, or related equipment
Working Conditions
- Primary work location will be in the Red River Valley office area
- Regular travel to other Transystems work sites for service and support
- Driving throughout the Red River Valley region as needed
- Occasional physical networking work, including cable running and equipment setup
- Setting up hardware such as desktop computers, laptops, and related technology
