Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions in math subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and differential equations to high school students.
• Assist students with test preparation strategies for standardized exams and classroom assessments.
• Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address individual student needs.
• Incorporate various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance understanding and engagement during online instruction.
• Support students in science subjects such as chemistry, biology (including microbiology, genetics, physiology, anatomy), biochemistry, chemical engineering, organic chemistry, microbiology, and physics.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively during tutoring sessions to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Track student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a high school math teacher with proven experience teaching math at the secondary level.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
• Strong knowledge of advanced math topics including calculus, statistics, discrete math, data structures, and differential equations.
• Experience working with teenagers in educational settings or tutoring environments.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and online instruction tools for remote teaching.
• Familiarity with science disciplines such as chemistry (including organic chemistry), biology (including genetics and biochemistry), physics (including physiology and anatomy), and related STEM fields like mechanical engineering or computer science is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special education needs or those requiring additional support.
• Strong computer skills for managing digital resources, student records, and virtual classrooms.
