Job Purpose:
Under general supervision, this positions serves as the charter schools program lead and acts as a resource to charter developing groups, existing charter schools, parents, charter school board members, charter sponsors, legislators, and other charter stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
This position is located in the Office of Education Choice and Family Engagement.
A bachelor's degree and experience in education, management or business.
A master's degree and five (5) years of experience in education, management, and/or business; or a bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in education, management, and/or business. Experience in the development and implementation of charter schools and knowledge of South Carolina charter school laws and regulations preferred.
