Join our compassionate team as a Customer Support and Care Coordinator for a small practice specializing in Mobile End of Life Pet Care in Phoenix and surrounding areas, where your veterinary experience will make a meaningful difference. You will serve as a vital link between pet families and our mobile veterinary team, ensuring seamless communication, compassionate care coordination, and adherence to veterinary standards. Your background in veterinary medicine and animal handling will empower you to deliver exceptional service while navigating complex situations with professionalism and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for pet owners seeking end-of-life care support, providing clear guidance and empathetic communication throughout the process
• Coordinate appointments, manage scheduling, and ensure timely delivery of veterinary services in a mobile setting
• Assist with medical collection procedures, including obtaining samples or documentation as needed for veterinary assessments
• Support pet owners with post-care instructions, medication management, and follow-up care to ensure comfort and dignity for their pets
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, medical information, and care plans following veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques
• Collaborate closely with veterinary professionals and other Care Coordinators to relay critical information regarding animal health status and treatment plans

Skills

• Extensive experience in veterinary medicine or related animal healthcare fields, including kennel experience, animal husbandry, or veterinary critical care
• Proficiency in medical collection techniques, animal restraint, catheterization, and aseptic procedures
• Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and surgical practices within companion animal medicine
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with pet owners using compassionate language while conveying complex medical information clearly
• Previous end of life care experience a bonus, but not required
