Job Overview
Domestic Operations Planner is responsible for coordinating domestic cargo shipments and providing high-level customer service to domestic and international clientele. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to superior customer service.
Responsibilities
1. Provides top-tier customer service at each and every interaction with clients, buyers, vendors, and all other shipment participants.
2. Plans truck shipments to end-users, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with KPI requirements.
3. Matches cargo to appropriate trucks, and schedules assets for safe and timely delivery.
4. Sustains enduring relationships with vendors and clientele.
5. Tracks truck locations and progress, advising end-users and clients of shipment status.
6. Monitors consignment inventory, developing and maintaining Excel-based control systems.
7. Assist clients with order status inquiries and special customer needs.
8. Resolves delivery problems efficiently and provides frequent updates to customers.
9. Create draft shipment invoices, identifying costs and income for dissemination to accounting.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
