Information Technology Intern

Location: On-site
Schedule: Part-time (<30 hours/week) during our normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Opportunity

Technology Solutions is looking for a motivated IT Intern who wants practical, hands-on experience in the technology industry.

For nearly two decades, we have provided managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, and technology consulting to businesses throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Our technicians work directly with real businesses, users, and technology environments rather than following scripts in a high-volume call center.

This internship is designed for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicates professionally, and is eager to learn. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals and gain exposure to hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, cybersecurity, and managed IT services.

Prior professional IT experience is not required. We place greater value on aptitude, initiative, reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in technology.

What You’ll Do

• Assist technicians with daily IT support activities and client service requests
• Document, track, and update support tickets accurately
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues
• Help prepare, configure, deploy, and maintain computers and other equipment
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and common business applications
• Create and update technical documentation and knowledge-base articles
• Communicate professionally with clients by phone, email, remote support tools, and in person
• Perform administrative and data-entry tasks accurately
• Participate in training, team meetings, and technology projects
• Follow established support, documentation, and security procedures

• Basic familiarity with computer hardware, Windows, networking, and common business applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational habits
• The ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn from feedback
• A professional and client-focused attitude

Applicants may be asked to complete a basic Microsoft Office and/or technical aptitude assessment.
