Job Summary
The Contracting Operations Specialist will support the contracting department and accounting departments with administrative, operational, and project management tasks, with a structured path toward hands on contract work. This role is designed to assume responsibility for recurring contract administration and data maintenance activities while being trained to assist with single case agreements and broader contracting initiatives. Ideal for an entry-level candidate interested in long-term growth, with opportunities to build industry expertise through hands-on training; prior experience is helpful but not required

This position will increase the contracting team’s capacity to be proactive—updating legacy agreements, responding to client feedback, analyzing performance, and expanding the network—while maintaining accuracy and consistency across contract data, files, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage annual rate increase processes
• Maintain contracting folder organization and HubSpot records
• Perform contract-related project management including credentialing audits, program additions or removals and database/system updates.
• Develop and maintain reporting including referral data and contract performance analytics.
• Support facility outreach including newsletters and contact verification.
• Assist and progressively take on single case agreement negotiations.
• Invoicing Distribution & Process Development
• Creation of Invoices
• Receivable Support (outstanding balance reminders, issue escalation)

Qualifications/Experience:

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Comfort working with legal documents, spreadsheets, and databases
• Experience with CRM systems
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring processes
• Clear written communication skills
• Interest in healthcare contracting, analytics, and network development
• Bachelor’s Degree a plus
