Maintex, a family-owned chemical manufacturer and distributor for the cleaning industry, located in City of Industry in the San Gabriel Valley area, is currently seeking to hire a Chemical Compounder.

High School diploma and 2 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Weighs and measures materials in strict accordance with manufacturing procedures; loads into blending equipment and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper mix of ingredients, and monitors progress to ensure finished product meets production standards.

Mix, compound, process, test, adjust, and modify raw ingredients to successfully carry out and complete the proper manufacturing process of products.

Follow approved manufacturing protocol, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, batch cards, departmental rules, and required regulatory procedures.

Operate forklift and /or pallet jack to transport raw materials or finished product, and scales to weigh bulk materials when necessary.

Submit samples to Quality Control for approval.

Maintain required logs and other batch records accurately and completely.

The compounder is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, including; tanks, storage containers filters, pipes, lines and pumps and utensils.
