Professional Engineer - Field Inspector

What We Seek:

We are currently looking for a licensed Professional Engineer who has the ability to perform field and shop inspections and testing. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years of inspection experience and must be able to successfully address multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Registered NYS Professional Engineer (or the ability to obtain PE license in NYS through reciprocity)
• material testing (Preferred)
• ACI concrete I and II, ICC 47 reinforced concrete, NICET I, II, III (Preferred)
• Familiar with NYC Building Codes (Preferred)
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
• Extremely detail oriented
• Driver's License ++

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and observations of construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Perform quality control and materials testing/verification, including concrete and other civil materials, documenting results and identifying deficiencies.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts; coordinate with project team to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate data collection and reporting on field activities; track progress and quality metrics using Microsoft Office and standard inspection forms.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and public infrastructure construction regulations; communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
