Responsibilities

We’re currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to support the project as a hands-on, reliable, and highly collaborative outstaff resource who can take ownership of UI and API test automation, contribute to test design and test infrastructure, and work closely with QA Manual, developers, and client-side stakeholders in a transparent and professional manner. The ideal candidate is strong in modern automation tooling for web applications, comfortable with building and maintaining robust automated test suites, troubleshooting flaky tests, supporting CI/CD execution, and documenting progress clearly through tickets, worklogs, and regular team synchronization. Beyond technical capability, this role requires strong communication, predictable availability, proactive status reporting, and the ability to work as part of a shared delivery team rather than as an isolated contributor. This role will work within the Agile framework of continuous delivery.

Develop automated test cases using

Testing the frontend, database, and API of the application

Implement and document best practices for test automation and assist the development teams in improving code quality

Ability to translate product requirements into test plans and test cases for test execution. Prioritizing what needs to be automated

Participate in scrum meetings and estimating efforts with English-speaking team members

Work closely with product managers and the engineering team to release high-quality applications

Requirements

Experience in Katalon Studio and Postman – nice to have skill

Experience in both: manual and automation testing

Expertise in test automation tools such as Playwright

Experience in testing all three layers of the application – frontend, database, and API

Experience in using the Python language

Experience in using the Project Management tool – JIRA

Experience using a version control system (GitHub, Bitbucket…)

Experience in Agile project methodologies (Kanban or Scrum)

Good English knowledge – reading, writing, speaking

Ability to create test plans, strategies and identify roadblocks during sprints

Cross teams communication with engineering, product, and client success

Proficiency in AI-driven QA tools for test case generation and analysis is required to support quality assurance processes

Candidates should have strong prompt engineering skills to optimize AI-driven testing outputs effectively

Understanding of AI tool boundaries and the ability to apply sound judgment and critical thinking in QA activities

Utilize AI to debug, refine quality assurance processes, and improve documentation for enhanced reliability and productivity
