The Willis Johnson Wealth (WJW) Wealth Management Development Program is a structured two-year rotational experience designed to build the technical foundation and professional confidence needed for a long-term career in wealth management.
During the program, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to every stage of the client journey, rotating across:
Client Onboarding – learn how new client relationships are established and supported
Client Operations – serve as “mission control” for paperwork, transfers, and custodial processes
Tax Operations – partner with our in-house CPA team during busy season to see tax strategies in action
Portfolio Management – contribute to reporting, trading, and investment analysis
Financial Planning – support advisors in developing comprehensive, client-centered financial plans
At the end of the program, you’ll be prepared to pursue advancement as a future financial advisor, operations leader, or tax professional.
Our Culture & What We Value
At WJW, we believe that how we work matters as much as what we do. Our culture is built around five values, and we look for team members who embody these behaviors:
Consultative – You listen first, ask thoughtful questions, and guide clients and colleagues with empathy and clarity.
Technical – You pursue depth of knowledge, whether in financial planning, investments, or systems, and strive to master the details.
Methodical – You bring structure and discipline, ensuring processes are precise, consistent, and reliable.
Collaborative – You thrive in a team environment, sharing credit, supporting others, and believing that collective success is the goal.
Proactive – You anticipate needs, take initiative without being asked, and keep projects moving forward.
