Wake Technical Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time faculty to teach American Heart Association courses.
Openings for these positions may or may not be available at this time; however, after a review of qualifications, applicants may be contacted in the future. Adjunct faculty positions provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis.

Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course
Designs curriculum and a schedule of instruction
Uses assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching
Maintains communication with instructors from other divisions in order to keep courses up-to-date and appropriate
Stays abreast of most current teaching methods and technology in the classroom
Attends professional development opportunities when possible
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationship with students, peers, supervisors and staff
Working knowledge of MS Office products
Requirements:

Credentialed as an American Heart Association instructor, or equivalent
