Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CDL Class A Driver Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to attract, engage, and hire qualified commercial drivers with Class A licenses, ensuring our fleet is staffed with top-tier talent. Your energetic approach and strategic sourcing skills will help us build a strong driver network, supporting our company's growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified CDL Class A drivers for our refrigerated OTR fleet
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and recruiting platforms
• Conduct phone interviews and pre-screen applicants
• Verify employment history, driving experience, and qualifications
• Guide drivers through the complete onboarding and hiring process
• Coordinate with Safety and Operations to ensure compliance with company and DOT requirements
• Maintain accurate candidate records within Tenstreet and other recruiting systems
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified CDL drivers
• Meet weekly and monthly recruiting and hiring objectives
• Represent VV Logistics Solutions professionally while delivering an outstanding candidate experience

Experience

• Proven success in high-volume recruitment environments, preferably within transportation or logistics industries.
• Strong background in full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, and onboarding of CDL Class A drivers.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to manage relationships effectively across internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of employment & labor law applicable to talent acquisition practices in the transportation sector.
• Experience utilizing social media marketing (recruitment) platforms for candidate outreach and brand promotion.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to research market trends and adapt recruiting strategies accordingly.
• Experience recruiting refrigerated OTR drivers
• Familiarity with Tenstreet Driver Pulse
• Understanding of PSP reports, MVRs, CSA scores, and DOT compliance requirements
• Experience hiring drivers nationwide
