About Us

Dorell Fabrics is one of the world's largest fabric suppliers, serving leading furniture manufacturers and retailers while operating six retail fabric showrooms across the U.S. We have a successful custom window treatments and drapery operation that is growing fast.

We're building a new Lead Conversion team focused on one mission: delivering an exceptional customer experience and turning online inquiries into showroom visits and in-home design appointments.

This is the first hire for that team and an opportunity to help shape how it grows.

About the Role

This is not a call center position.

This is not a high-volume cold calling job.

Nearly every person you speak with has already contacted us because they're interested in one of our products or services.

Your job is simple:

Own every lead until they either become a customer, tell us they're no longer interested, or are clearly unqualified.

You'll be the first impression of our retail business and the bridge between online marketing and our showroom teams.

What You'll Do

• Respond to new leads within minutes whenever possible
• Call, text, and email customers who have requested information
• Build rapport and understand each customer's project
• Answer basic questions about our products and services
• Schedule showroom consultations and in-home design appointments
• Confirm upcoming appointments and reduce no-shows
• Follow up consistently with leads that aren't ready today
• Re-engage older opportunities that may still become customers
• Maintain detailed notes inside our CRM
• Coordinate with our showroom teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Help improve scripts, messaging, and follow-up processes as we grow

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who already knows how to convert inbound opportunities.

You may have experience in:

• Home improvement
• Remodeling
• Interior design
• Luxury retail
• Real estate
• Mortgage
• HVAC
• Roofing
• Window replacement
• Kitchen & bath
• Automotive internet sales
• Medical or cosmetic consultation scheduling

Window Treatment experience is not required.

What matters is your ability to build relationships and consistently move people toward taking the next step.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay $20-25/hr + bonus
• Performance bonuses tied to appointment quality and attendance

Pilot Program

This position begins as a 90-day paid pilot program.

We're intentionally building this role from the ground up and want to be transparent that we're testing a new customer acquisition model.

If the program performs as expected, our goal is to expand this into a long-term position with increasing responsibility as our lead generation efforts continue to grow.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
