Job DescriptionThis position is accountable for those pharmacy services which require pharmaceutical education and state licensure; leadership experience and extensive clinical and professional judgment to provide quality care to Med/Surg patients. This vital resource works to establish clinical practices consisting of drug reviews for appropriateness, drug monitoring, participating in trauma codes and active involvement in the management of Med/Surg patients. These duties are performed according to departmental policies and procedures, and as scheduled by the supervisory staff.
Is open to leadership roles within the pharmacy residency programs.
RequirementsEducation:To qualify a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is required. Licensing/CertificationsNew York State Pharmacist License requiredBoard of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification within 1 year of hireExperience:PGY-1 Training with at least 2 years post-residency experience as a Clinical Pharmacist is requiredPGY-2 Training in Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy with at least one year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist is preferredRegular or TemporaryRegularPosition TypeFull-time
Pay: $165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
