Hourly Pay Range: $54-$64/hour w2
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to transform, standardize, and model data that powers the business. This role focuses on improving existing ETL pipelines, building new ones to support evolving business needs, and refactoring legacy data pipelines into reliable, scalable, and maintainable data workflows. Also creating new data tables, fields and objects to support upcoming business needs.
Responsibilities
- Transform, standardize, and aggregate raw data into business-ready datasets
- Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines, including making code updates to current pipeline loads
- Design and build new ETL pipelines to support new data sources and business requirements
- Develop and maintain SQL-based data models, including creating new tables and leveraging existing tables
- Develop SQL views and procedures
- Improve pipeline reliability, performance, and readability by simplifying and standardizing SQL logic
- Partner with business and analytics stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and pipeline failures, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years data engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, transformations, and data modeling
- Hands-on experience working with ETL pipelines and data transformations
- Experience using SQL tools such as DBeaver and/or SQL Workbench
- Ability to work with existing legacy pipelines and refactor them into cleaner, more maintainable solutions
