Daily Activities:
The job is entry level, it is mostly data entry type work, with the occasional outbound call to get missing information for enrollees. Everything is trained by BCI with the first day of training happening on August 10th. This is a great opportunity for anyone starting their career at BCI. We have contractors in the past be offered another contract and sometimes a full-time position by consistently showing up on time and doing good work for this client.
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer support while accurately managing and inputting data across various systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity. Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat channels.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain data within multiple database systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms.
- Perform data entry tasks using advanced computer skills, including 10-key typing and Excel data analysis.
- Manage order entry processes efficiently, ensuring all information is correct and complete.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data, create pivot tables, and generate reports for management review.
- Support administrative functions such as filing, document organization, and data collection efforts.
- Transcribe information accurately from various sources into digital formats while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with basic math calculations required for data verification and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data accuracy and streamline workflows.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and related documentation.
Skills
- Proficiency with databases, database systems, and ERP software.
- Strong computer skills with experience in productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Expertise in Excel data analysis, including creating pivot tables and utilizing formulas.
- Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed (10-key typing preferred).
- Knowledge of data entry best practices in Excel and other office applications.
- Familiarity with office experience including filing, transcription, and clerical tasks.
- Basic math skills for order processing and data validation purposes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Technical proficiency in handling various software tools related to data collection and entry.
- Previous administrative or clerical experience is advantageous for success in this role.
