Sales Representative – Precision Swiss Machined Components

Pay: $60,000–$80,000 per year (base salary) Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Schedule: Monday–Friday (based on client meetings and travel)

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to promote and sell precision Swiss-machined components to customers across a defined territory. Swiss machining experience is a plus along with the interest and ability to learn technical product information. This role focuses on managing existing accounts, developing new business, and building long-term customer relationships through regular travel (including overnight) to conduct in-person visits, phone calls, and email communication. You will work closely with our U.S.-based sales team and international partners to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve and exceed sales goals.

This role is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys being on the road, building relationships face-to-face, and selling a technical product they can take pride in. It's not a fit for someone who prefers a desk-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities
• Maintain a structured daily schedule of customer outreach and follow-up (phone, email, and in-person visits)
• Manage daily schedule of client visits including driving out of state
• Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product information
• Negotiate pricing and terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records in the CRM system
• Submit regular reports on sales activity and performance
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events as needed
• Participate in ongoing training, including potential training in Italy and Europe

Travel Requirements

• Regional Travel a minimum of 4 days per week
• Overnight travel approximately 35-40% of the time

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Ability to learn and communicate technical product information
• Proficient computer skills, including email and basic business software
• Open to feedback and continuous learning

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Sales experience required
• Swiss machining experience is a plus
